Job Description:
As a Flooring Sales Representative, you'll be the face of our brand, guiding customers through the flooring selection process—from product knowledge and design advice to measurements and project coordination. You’ll help turn ideas into beautiful, functional spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with product selection based on needs, style, and budget
- Explain features, benefits, and installation processes of various flooring types (hardwood, vinyl, carpet, tile, etc.)
- Generate quotes and close sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and/or commercial clients
- Coordinate with installers and project managers to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain showroom appearance and stay up-to-date on product knowledge
- Meet or exceed sales goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales (flooring or home improvement industry preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends
- Self-motivated with a drive to meet targets
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, QuickBooks)
- Bilingual a plus (but not required)
- Knowledge of flooring products and trends a strong plus
