We currently have an opportunity available for a WMS Application Specialist. This is dynamic and multifaceted role, offering a wide variety of responsibilities that keep the position exciting and challenging. This role focuses on utilizing technical skills, particularly SQL programming and Körber’s WMS configuration tools, to support the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the warehouse management system (WMS). As a key player in the success of Körber WMS deployments, the Specialist works directly with internal teams and external clients, providing hands-on support and strategic solutions. Körber WMS Application Specialist are versatile team members who may act as business analysts, troubleshooters, process improvement specialists, or technical experts on any given day. Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, IS/IT, or a related field
- Experience in writing, reading, and troubleshooting SQL queries
- Strong understanding of WMS functionality and the ability to translate business needs into technical configurations
- Proficiency with Körber WMS or similar systems
- Ability to create and interpret technical design documents using Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with .NET, HTML5, and basic scripting languages
- Exposure to networking tools, Windows operating systems, and database management systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within the U.S.
Preferred:
- Expertise in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- Customer service and technical support experience within a WMS environment
- Experience leading system upgrades, enhancements, or project implementations within Körber WMS
- Project management experience
