Clean Water Ops is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Wastewater Treatment Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of multiple small wastewater treatment facilities. This position involves hands-on work and offers a great opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop skills in this essential field. On-the-job training and support for obtaining the necessary certification with the State of Connecticut will be provided.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain small wastewater treatment facilities.
- Perform routine sampling and testing to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain daily logs of activities and facility performance.
- Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with any additional duties as required.
*Qualifications:
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- A commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Candidate must be willing to undergo training to obtain wastewater operator certification from the State of Connecticut.
