The Assisted Living Clinical Assistant assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care through recruiting, hiring, onboarding and scheduling clinical staff according to resident and business needs in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the staff schedule
- Provide supervision and assistance with ADLs
- Flex schedule to cover open shifts as needed
- Assist with the maintenance of resident care plans
- Review and audit patient records
- Administer medications according to procedures
- Train new staff on proper techniques
- Participate in manager on call rotation
