What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trinity Together Program Associate I position at The Watershed Research and Training Center?
The Watershed Center serves as a fiscal agent to the Trinity Together Program, with its aligned mission of preparing youth of all ages for successful navigation of college and career pathways. Trinity Together is one of 10 county networks that work under the leadership of North State Together, a collective impact model that brings together leaders, cross-sector partners, families and students to work towards a vision of student success. Since 2018, Trinity Together has worked as a Cradle to Career Partnership to support successful futures, bridge education and employment gaps for all residents.
This role will lead initiatives that focus on K-12 youth support, career exploration, work-based learning experiences, and leadership activities both in and out of the classroom. There will also be opportunities to teach and support transitional-aged youth and adults. The Program Associate will:
- Plan and oversee field trips that engage higher education, career exploration, professional experts, workforce panels and community partners.
- Facilitate youth travel and safety.
- Lead in-class, small group and informal instruction, including the Paxton Patterson curriculum.
- Represent Trinity Together with professionalism.
Location: Hayfork, or Weaverville, CA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.45 - $26.45 per hour
Expected hours: 30 β 40 per week
