Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance to our clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support, software troubleshooting, and customer service, ensuring that all technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via various communication channels.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across multiple operating systems, including Linux.
  • Utilize tools such as Assembla, Jira and ServiceNow to track and manage support tickets.
  • Assist users with VPN connectivity issues and computer networking challenges.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Maintain documentation of support processes, solutions, and user guides to enhance team knowledge.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on software applications, including Microsoft Office.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Solid knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with VPN configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of computer networking principles and practices.
  • Previous experience in IT support roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Experience working with software development projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
