Description
As an E-commerce Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our e-commerce platforms are fully optimized, functional, and aligned with business goals. You will act as a bridge between the IT and business teams, analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and improve the overall customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, data analysis, and technical problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities of the Position
- Collaborate with e-commerce, marketing, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for e-commerce platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product listings, order processing, payment gateways, and other e-commerce functionalities.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, including uptime, speed, and security, and recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in the integration and customization of third-party e-commerce tools, platforms, and software.
- Support testing, implementation, and deployment of new e-commerce features and functionalities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support e-commerce initiatives.
- Provide technical support for internal teams regarding e-commerce tools and troubleshooting.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and potential areas of improvement in user experience.
- Ensure e-commerce systems meet legal, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies to improve site functionality, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
Requirements
Qualifications of the Position
- Database query skills, preferably Microsoft SQL and/or Postgres
- Troubleshooting skills
