The Springs of Arkansas is seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Director to join our exceptional team. If you have a "can-do" attitude and a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you! This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and meeting the needs of our residents. The Maintenance Director oversees and manages all aspects of facility maintenance, including compliance with Life Safety program requirements and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily general maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Prepare resident rooms for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets, and handling general maintenance needs.
- Conduct regular inspections of building exteriors and grounds to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, manage inventory, and oversee budgeted expenses for maintenance supplies and tools.
- Identify and recommend the replacement of major items, such as carpets and appliances, while assessing long- and short-term maintenance needs.
- Develop, plan, and implement an effective preventative maintenance program.
- Coordinate bids and oversee capital projects as needed.
- Provide occasional transportation for residents to appointments using the community vehicle in the absence of the Recreation Manager or Van Driver.
- Be available for on-call facility emergencies as needed.
