Job Description:
- Lead and Manage: Work closely with the Construction Manager and Foreman to plan and execute daily operations.
- Coordinate and Communicate: Ensure timely delivery of materials, manage crew needs, and coordinate with other superintendents to keep projects on track.
- Plan the Work: Oversee the preparation of all necessary tools, manpower, and resources to ensure smooth project execution.
- Safety First: Ensure all team members follow our TWG Health and Safety Plan, keeping a safe and efficient work environment.
- Monitor Progress: Track project timelines and production to stay ahead of schedule, adjusting as needed to meet project goals.
- Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the project team, providing input to schedule updates, progress reports, and cost analysis.
- Quality Control: Lead and actively participate in the QA/QC process to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Experience in Heavy Civil Construction: You've got a background in concrete/foundations and experience in self-performed heavy and highway construction.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with wind farm foundation work or mass concrete pours.
- Proficient in ASI/ASTM standards and concrete mix designs.
- OSHA 30 Certification and relevant training.
- Leadership Qualities: You thrive in a leadership role, motivating your team to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Attention to Detail: You're organized, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything on track.
- Experience & Education: Preferably, you have a construction management or civil engineering degree and 5-9 years of experience in heavy civil, highway, bridge/structures, or utility infrastructure projects.
- Client Focus: You come with at least three positive references from employers or clients in the past five years.
