Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and reservation details.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and services to assist guests effectively.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, providing information about room availability, rates, and services offered.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Assist in managing reservations through various platforms while maintaining an organized booking system.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a resort or hotel environment.
This position will be an overnight shift.
