Guest Service/Night Audit
Guest Service Agents are responsible for greeting and registering the guest, providing outstanding guest service during their stay, and settling the guest’s account upon completion of their stay.
Primary responsibilities include: providing exceptional customer service first and foremost, while registering and/or checking out guests, making and modifying reservations, managing the internal status of all guests and guest rooms, answering telephones. Night Audit responsibilities include balancing all end-of-day ledgers.
What you will be doing
- Greet and welcome all guests, visitors and associates in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform while working.
- Maintain proper operation of the telephone switchboard and ensure that all performance standards are met.
- Handle requests for information, mail and messages in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Answer all inquiries from guests in friendly and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.
- Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures as required.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
- Ability to learn the operation of all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
- Assist other departments in daily operations as needed.
- Any other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Guest Service Agents must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
- Reconcile accounts; investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts.
- Cash handling.
- Guest Service Agents must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
- Ability to maintain friendly, professional demeanor with guests and coworkers in very busy, high demand, situations.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

Salary: From $13.00-$15.00 per hour
