Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to promote teamwork and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate laundry services, including laundering linens and towels, while maintaining inventory levels.
- Implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
- Address any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and leadership.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality or commercial cleaning industry.
- Strong understanding of custodial practices, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with staff and guests.
