Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to prepare beverages requested by customers according to standard operating procedures, and to provide courteous, prompt service to guests in accordance with the LSOP. The bartender must provide an atmosphere of welcome, and warmth generated by a sincere concern for all guests' satisfaction. This position will cover Harry's Lounge and/or Salty's pool side. All beverages must be prepared and served in a timely and accurate manner following recipe specifications. Presentation must be consistent using fresh garnishes at all times. Payment must be received and accurately recorded. Beverage par levels must be maintained by requisitions as needed. Promotions of specials and upselling are expected. Food service when required.
Starting salary is $8.00 per hour plus tips.
Qualification Education & Experience Standards:
- ServSafe Certificate, TIPS, or approved alcohol related training Certificate helpful.
- High School diploma or equivalent certificate required.
- Previous bartending experience preferred. Bartending skills- specific knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, mixed drinks, and mock tails.
- Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage procedures and serving standards.
- Health Department rules and regulations.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English.
