What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Server - Off-Premise Catering position at The White Apron Catering?
The White Apron is a high volume, off-premise catering company. We travel up to a 1.5-hour distance, in any direction from Dover, NH. A vehicle is required as we travel to different locations along the seacoast to cater private events. Carpooling may be available. The events include small dinner parties of 10-20 guests and mostly social events (primarily weddings) up to 350 guests. We require a minimum of 1 year experience in food service. We are looking for staff that feels comfortable being on their feet and assisting with everything including unloading catering vehicles, setting up for events, table & chairs, place settings, service of food, clearing and breakdown. Candidates must have a positive attitude, have strong work ethic, must take direction well and work well with other team members.
Candidates must feel comfortable with some heavy lifting and working outdoors when necessary
We are a seasonal business that operates from May through October.
