Waiter/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patrons receive outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle cash register transactions efficiently, processing payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Uphold fine dining standards by providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and wine pairings.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2.15 - $3.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
