A global food manufacturing company is seeking a Jr. Project Engineer to join its team at its flagship Memphis, TN facility . This role will support the company's expansion and automation efforts by assisting in the design, coordination, and execution of capital projects related to manufacturing operations.
This is a permanent, direct-hire position that requires on-site work in Memphis, TN . A strong relocation package is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of capital projects related to plant expansions, equipment installations, and process automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and maintenance to ensure project success.
- Support equipment selection, vendor coordination, and project scheduling under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Project to create and update project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with cost control measures.
- Ensure all work aligns with safety, quality, and compliance standards.
