What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Program Coordinator position at THE WILLIAM M BEDELL ARC?
The CILA Residential Program Coordinator has the responsibility of assisting with the residential homes and office staff of the CILA Program. The Residential Program Coordinator is directly responsible to the Residential Program Director.
Agency Responsibilities:
Attend all in-service and other scheduled meetings/activities as directed by the Program Director.
Be available to assist in general development of the program.
Comply with agency personnel policies.
Other duties as assigned.
QIDP Responsibilities:
Assist with resident appointment.
Assist with training DSP’s in the home.
Assisting in filing, scanning, coping, documents and storing files in the appropriate areas
Fill in homes during an emergency situation or wait until other staff arrive.
Be familiar with residents’ medication and service plan.
Follow CILA Policies and Procedures.
Assist with Employee staffing at each home.
Responsible for activities in the homes.
Responsible for supervising the Residential Recreation Coordinator.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Education (minimum requirements for education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in human services and/or related Human Service Field that meets the standards for a QIDP as defined by the Illinois Department of Human Services.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certification
Experience: Supervisory
Technical 1-3 years
1 year or more
