We are looking for a reliable and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team and help us continue to grow and serve our customers effectively.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations, with a primary focus on managing the permitting process and scheduling appointments. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth project flow and excellent customer communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Permitting:
  • Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant local municipalities.
  • Track the status of permits and follow up with authorities as needed.
  • Maintain organized records of all permit-related documentation.
  • Communicate permit updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Scheduling:
  • Coordinate and schedule installation appointments with customers and installation teams.
  • Manage and maintain the appointment calendar, ensuring efficient routing and time management.
  • Confirm appointments with customers and provide necessary pre-appointment information.
  • Reschedule appointments as needed, communicating changes effectively.
  • General Administrative Support:
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure a well-organized workspace.
  • Assist with data entry and record-keeping.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from our Apopka office.
  • Experience with permitting processes is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
  • Customer service oriented with a professional and positive attitude.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday.

Compensation:

  • $17.00 per hour.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
