Role: Senior System Engineer (Unisys)

Role Summary:
This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in Unisys MCP systems, who can lead projects, ensure system reliability, and drive architectural improvements. It also involves mentoring and training, making it a leadership role within the technical domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Implementation:
- Leading major software releases and upgrades, including MCP OS and network systems.
- Planning and managing hardware upgrades.
- Acting as a technical lead for large-scale projects.
- Systems Maintenance:
- Ensuring 24x7 uptime for mainframes, addressing connectivity, application, and platform issues.
- Collecting and analyzing performance metrics to assess system capacity and performance.
- Developing procedures to maintain system reliability.
- System Architecture:
- Researching and presenting solutions and technologies.
- Establishing auditing standards and ensuring compliance with CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments.
- Identifying bottlenecks and recommending performance improvements.
- Supporting technology deployment and mentoring team members.
Required Expertise:
- Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of MCP OS, networking, and FS system hardware.
- Experience with EMC disk subsystems, WFL, COMS, Windows, DASDL, and DTP.
- Subject matter expertise in MCP system software, security, networking, system design, and performance management.
- Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Unisys MCP systems and enterprise-level environments.
Salary : $50 - $60
