The Restaurant Manager will work as needed throughout each day to fulfill job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staffing levels and payroll to stay within budgeted costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue across all service areas.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet budget goals.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain service standards and promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; alternatively, a 2-year college degree plus three or more years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
- Ability to perform well in high-pressure and stressful situations. Must maintain composure and objectivity under stress.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and addressing workplace issues as needed.
- Wine knowledge preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
