Job Summary
The Compliance Specialist 1 reports to the Plant Manager and performs a wide variety of compliance and administrative functions for the plant. This is a full-time position. Ideal candidates will have 3 years administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment, and are strong with programs like Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and submit 702 reports for federal reporting each month.
- Close work orders.
- Generate cellar work orders as needed.
- Update wine tracking system.
- Identify changes needed on cellar workorders prior to closing workorders.
- Run reports on inventory movements for wine and ingredients.
- Assists during regulatory agency audits and internal audits.
- Ensure ingredient usage data is correct on work orders.
- Complete monthly ingredient inventory.
- Update Bills of Lading in wine tracking system.
- Develop and utilizes spreadsheets and databases.
- Download data from JDE, and/or other production systems.
- Provide support to other departments such as wine shipping, BOL’s, ingredient ordering and crush work orders.

- Must be 18 years or older at time of hire.
- 2 years prior administrative experience required, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be organized.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and provide follow-up.
- Familiarity with wine movement and terminology preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand departmental operations and procedures.
- Ability to contribute to positive work atmosphere by communicating with clients, customers, colleagues, and management.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Support and model all company procedures and policies.

- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Ability to travel between facilities when required.

- Hourly Pay Range Posted: $25.87 - $38.85/hr.
- Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
