Job Title: Line Cook/Prep Cook
Job Summary:
The Wine Whisperer is seeking an experienced line cook to join our culinary team. You would be reporting to the Kitchen Manager and Food & Beverage Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of our menu. You would work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that out kitchen is operating at the highest standards.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of catering and dietary department operations
- Proficiency in knife skills and food preparation techniques
- Understanding of culinary principles and kitchen operations
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
