What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at THE WISE COMPANY?
Operate or tend CNC Machine to cut patterns loaded in the machine.
Experience – Demonstrated ability to perform all trained processes and duties within a reasonable timeframe established by employer. Demonstrated ability to follow standard operations and instructions with minimal supervision. Willingness to accept training for new operations as business needs arise.
Tasks
· Ability to start and operate machine
· Ability to enter marker number to open program to start the cutting process
· Check the perimeter of the vinyl and make sure it lines up
· Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective cutting
· Match pieces in correct sequences and put on racks/carts
· Monitor the sorters to make sure they are correctly labeling items
· Record quantities of materials processed
· Label & Inspect cut pieces
· Retrieve vinyl for recuts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.30 - $16.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
