What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post-Doctoral Fellow – Nefedova Lab (Immuno-Oncology) position at The Wistar Institute?
The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Yulia Nefedova. The Nefedova laboratory focuses on understanding the mechanisms involved in regulation of tumor progression and therapy resistance by tumor microenvironment.
We are seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral fellow to work on the intersection of basic and translational research in immuno-oncology focusing on multiple myeloma. The successful candidate will have experience in studying myeloid cells both in vivo and in vitro, strong hands-on skills in basic cellular and immunological methods including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, cell killing assays, and extensive experience with mouse models. Strong expertise with mouse myeloma models is desirable.
A PhD in immunology or cancer biology is required. Candidates should have at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication.
