What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial and Accounting Analyst position at THE WITTERN GROUP INC?
Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements).
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) to ensure financial targets are met.
- Determines cost of project and small program operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data
- Assists with preparing presentation slide decks for program financial performance reporting
- Compares and analyzes program actual results versus plans and forecasts
Accounting Functions:

- Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in closing monthly/quarterly/year-end financial books.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial projections and develop detailed financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
- Financial Systems & Tools:
- Use financial software and tools to manage and analyze financial data.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
Compliance & Auditing:

- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers.
