Financial and Accounting Analyst

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements).
  • Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Determines cost of project and small program operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data
  • Assists with preparing presentation slide decks for program financial performance reporting
  • Compares and analyzes program actual results versus plans and forecasts

Accounting Functions:

• • • Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
    • Assist in closing monthly/quarterly/year-end financial books.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide financial projections and develop detailed financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
• Financial Systems & Tools:
  • Use financial software and tools to manage and analyze financial data.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.

Compliance & Auditing:

• • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers. 

Risk Management:

• • Identify and assess financial risks, including cash flow issues and market volatility, and suggest risk mitigation strategies
