Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Evaluation: Review and make credit decisions on a high volume of applications, considering various customer types and loan amounts.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a small team responsible for underwriting, processing, and accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely credit assessments.
• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate credit decisions and company policies to sales teams, colleagues, and credit applicants, fostering strong relationships.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present reports on department metrics and credit trends, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
• Criteria Enhancement: Collaborate in the ongoing improvement and updating of credit rating criteria to reflect market conditions and risk assessments.
• Documentation Oversight: Ensure the thorough preparation and review of documentation related to credit applications and decisions.
