Floor Technician for Woodlands of Arnold
We are looking for a hardworking Floor Technician to join our cleaning team. While we are willing to provide training to the right candidate, you should have some janitorial experience and familiarity with various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment. The duties of this job include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing the floor surfaces of our nursing faclity. In some cases, you may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light cleaning tasks.
Floor Technician Available shifts:
- Full Time
- Evening Shift
- Monday-Friday, 11a-7p and Every Other Weekend 7a-3p
Floor Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Task of stripping & waxing of corridors, resident rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop and wax floors in common areas to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- General housekeeping including sanitizing resident rooms, rest rooms, common areas, dining areas and hallways.
- Pull trash in soiled utility rooms, common areas, residential and office spaces.
- Ability to operate and maintain floor machine and equipment.
- Clean and prepare resident rooms for new occupancy.
- May assist with storing and moving of residential belongings.
- Follow workplace safety standards while cleaning, moving heavy objects, using chemicals, and all housekeeping services.
Floor Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
· Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
· Physical stamina
· Attention to detail
· Team Player
