TWG is a Retained Executive Search Firm representing a large medical device company focused on manufacturing, medical equipment management, and services . They are seeking a Finance Business Process Director. The role will work closely with initiative leads to drive the translation of key enterprise strategic priorities to execution. This includes oversight and/or leading the M&A integration planning and execution, ongoing finance related initiatives, and continuous business process standardization from identification to implementation. This role is critical to ensuring that business case opportunities and cost/margin are achieved, risks are minimized, and a solid foundation is built for scalable business growth.


The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders and managing strategic roadmaps. Proven experience assessing projects with margin improvement/cost reduction, operational efficiencies or other strategic benefits.


This role reports to the VP of Corporate Development and is located in Minnesota and expected to work in office on a hybrid schedule.


JOB SUMMARY

The role will work closely with initiative leads to drive the translation of key enterprise strategic priorities to execution. This includes oversight and/or leading the M&A integration planning and execution, ongoing finance related initiatives (see below), and continuous business process standardization from identification to implementation. This role is critical to ensuring that business case opportunities and cost/margin are achieved, risks are minimized, and a solid foundation is built for scalable business growth. The role is responsible for partnering with business leaders and managing multiple cross-functional working groups. The role will lead the integration projects of acquired entities including pre-acquisition integration planning, post-acquisition integration activities, business process implementation and transition services management. The role is critical to ensuring that business case opportunities and cost/margin synergies are achieved and that risks are minimized. Under the direct guidance and supervision of the VP, Corporate Development and business leaders, the role is responsible for the coordination and management of multiple cross-functional streams and supports the corporate development function in its execution of its strategic plans and functional work streams.


PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Transition from due diligence to integration
  2. Integration project management
  3. Cross-function integration team management
  4. Acquisitions integration reporting and communication
  5. Development of the integration playbook
  6. Assess projects with margin improvement/cost reduction, operational efficiencies or other strategic benefit
  7. Advise functional groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization and resource application
  8. Manage complex company-wide cross-functional process improvement initiatives
  9. Lead projects from inception to benefit realization and control
  10. Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure timely delivery of commitments
  11. Participate in cross-functional teams to revise processes, procedures, or designs to improve company performance by facilitating continuous improvement projects


QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, Master’s preferred.
  2. Proficiency with MS Office experience (including Visio).
  3. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  4. 10 years of experience in managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  5. 10 years of experience with managing strategic roadmaps
  6. Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams
  7. Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%)
  8. Comfortable working under ambiguity
  9. Skilled at negotiating compromise with stakeholder competing interests
  10. Excellent interpersonal skills
  11. Business case and KPI development and tracking
