I’m a small business owner who relies on Apple products and VoiceOver to run things efficiently. I’m looking for a Mac Expert who can help set up automation workflows using Automator, AppleScript, Hazel by Noodlesoft, and Nitro PDF Pro. This is a short-term contract position, but it could turn into something longer with ongoing maintenance projects.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Experience: At least 7 years of Apple Mac expertise and 2 years working with Automator and/or AppleScripts.
- Technical Skills: Verifiable experience with Automator, AppleScript,
Preferred Experience with Hazel by Noodlesoft but not required (for file automation). Bonus points if you know Nitro PDF Pro for OCR tasks.
- Work Style: This position is hybrid – some tasks can be done remotely, but you’ll also need to work in-office on occasion.
- Personality: I need someone with a can-do attitude, a heart of a teacher, and the patience to explain processes clearly.
- Accessibility: You’ll be working directly with me, and I’m completely blind, so familiarity with VoiceOver or an openness to learning how blind individuals use technology is crucial.
Pay:
Negotiable and based on experience. Payment will also be task-based.
