Worden is a 75-year-old wood furniture manufacturer. Under its new leadership, Worden has seen sizable growth in the last year and aspires to continue their growth trajectory in both the short and long term.
Worden designs and produces wood furniture for libraries, learning, working, and living spaces. Specialties include veneer, laminate, and solid wood standard products combined with custom products, and hand-applied finishes.
Position Summary
We’re searching for a detailed, organized, and friendly individual with experience in customer service. This person would come into the office 5 days a week (M-F) to assist the customer service manager with order acknowledgements, order entry, customer communication, and project management.
This job is perfect for a person that’s detailed, interested in building relationships, and supporting a growing team!
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with our loyal customer base.
- Gain an understanding of our standard and custom furniture portfolio.
- Enter order details into the Worden ERP system.
- Send order acknowledgements to our customers.
- Respond to customer questions and keep them up-to-date on their specific product build.
Requirements
- Prefer 3 years of experience in customer service.
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Business.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience the services industry.
- Knowledge of how a manufacturing company operates and how customer service plays a part in the greater scope of business.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
