Summary :
Responsible for plant equipment and building maintenance as well as project planning and implementation, plant equipment layouts, and troubleshooting equipment problems for assigned plants within one or more facilities.

Responsibilities
Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data of industrial machinery and equipment design.
Determines feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages, and limitations that affect long-range plant and product engineering planning.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
Performs cost estimating.
Troubleshoots equipment.
Initiates purchase of equipment and maintenance supplies.
Reports on maintenance and engineering activities to management.
Significant management and contractor interactions including design, costing, quoting, and executing electrical systems, control systems, and automation upgrades.
Coordination, support, and installation of various electrical system projects.
Provide engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and externally.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
Expected to assist in the implementation of the company's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
Comply with all department, facility, Corporate, and Regulatory EH&S regulations.
