The WorkPlace will be offering the 32-Hour Lead Worker Initial Training and the 32-Hour Asbestos Worker Initial Training programs at no cost. Registration is required. Please see the schedule of classes below:
Lead Worker Initial Course
March 25- March 28.

Descriptions:
32 Hour Lead Worker Initial Training: The Lead Abatement Worker Initial training course includes a minimum of 32 training hours which includes hands-on training. The training curriculum includes all the topics required by the CT Department of Public Health Standard. Successful completion of the training shall be demonstrated by achieving a score of at least seventy percent on the examination. The examination is comprised of one hundred (100) multiple choice questions. Students will receive a certification of training.
32 Hour Asbestos Worker Initial Training: The Asbestos Abatement Worker Initial Training Course is 32 Hours of training that includes lectures, demonstrations, hands-on training, course review, and a written examination. The training curriculum includes all the topics required by the CT Department of Public Health Standard. Successful completion of the training shall be demonstrated by achieving a score of at least seventy percent on the examination. The examination is comprised of fifty (50) multiple choice questions. Students will receive a certification of training.
Seats are limited so registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 18, 2025 for one or both classes.
Classes will be offered in Bridgeport at Earth Environment.
