We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes, enhancing their quality of life through compassionate companionship and assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to promote cognitive engagement.
Requirements
- Experience in home health or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care practices and working with individuals with disabilities is essential.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are required.
- Basic first aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to prepare meals according to dietary needs.
