Job Summary
The Swim Instructor 1 position involves teaching swim lessons to children and adults of varying skill levels. Responsibilities
- Teach swim lessons in compliance with YMCA of the USA guidelines and local regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons and enforce pool rules.
- Report to work on time, prepared to receive communications and instructions from supervisors.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Promote participation in the Y Swimming Lessons program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Exercise Science, or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid.
- Passion for working with children and adults alike.
