Essential Functions:
- Technology Operations & Strategy: Oversee all IT operations and evaluate performance against established goals. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Systems Management: Become an expert on all technology systems used by the Club, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate, manage, and ensure compliance with IT contracts, including renewals and service agreements. Process invoices and monitor IT-related expenditures.
- IT Policies & Security: Develop and enforce IT policies, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures to protect Club data and systems.
- Team & Vendor Oversight: Supervise in-house IT staff and manage external IT vendors or consultants as needed. Delegate tasks effectively to maintain smooth operations.
- Technology Research & Innovation: Stay informed on emerging technologies and make strategic recommendations to enhance Club operations.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in IT processes to increase efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Hardware & Software Management: Oversee maintenance schedules, inventory, and replacement plans for all IT hardware and software.
- Project Management: Lead and execute multiple critical IT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- User Support & Engagement: Proactively understand and anticipate the technology needs of staff, members, guests, and clients, ensuring seamless IT support and service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of IT leadership experience, preferably in a hospitality, private club, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems administration.
- Proven experience managing IT contracts, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Hands-on technical expertise in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Experience with hospitality or club management software is a plus (Northstar, Paylocity).
- Ability to problem-solve, create and maintain schedules, and be both a prepared and flexible person.
- Establish and uphold positive and productive working relationships with members, guests and staff.
- Work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Be organized, exercise sound judgment, perform detailed tasks; understand, follow and give clear verbal and written direction.
