As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages during busy periods.
- Comply with health and safety regulations as well as company policies regarding alcohol service.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in mixology, sales techniques, and customer service.
Skills
- Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Proficiency in toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in retail math is beneficial for managing transactions.
