Cleaning & Maintenance Technician

The Cleaning & Maintenance Technician at The Yard routinely completes service calls at the location. In this role you will be required to maintain brand standards completing cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the day.

This work includes brewing coffee, loading and unloading dishwashers, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting all areas of the space, as well as trash removal. From time to time it may also include hanging frames, replacing locks, small patch and paint jobs, appliance repair, and troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing and electrical issues. 

This role requires a fine eye to detail and an expedited approach within a workspace setting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Expert skills in patching and painting

Daily completion of a checklist including garbage removal and daily upkeep

Ensuring the integrity and operational order of all locks, doors & windows

Ensuring a speedy yet thorough monthly suite turnover with Community Managers

Ability to multitask and communicate with the Head of Maintenance on projects

Ability to assist in large scale renovation projects in existing locations

Ensuring your location is presented in accordance with brand standards and a positive work environment is maintained

Responding to emergency situations during and after standard hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns

Adhoc projects as required

Disposition & Experience:

Highly organized multitasking with excellent time management

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

A high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills

Ability to deliver quality service, efficiently and within required deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Calm demeanor under pressure
