What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Operations Cart Attendant position at The Yards (at Sawgrass)?
The Yards, located inside the gates of Sawgrass, is the newest social hub of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. To fulfill our members’ and guests’ expectations and to continue providing a high level of professional customer service, we are looking to add to our golf operations team. This position reports directly to the Director of Golf. Be a part of the new wave and join our unique golf community.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests upon arrival and unload golf clubs.
- Provide information about facility and directions if needed.
- Be knowledgeable about all golf club activities and events happening at the Club.
- Maintain the driving range and practice areas as needed (pick the driving range, clear chipping area, rearrange range furniture, clean, and restock practice golf balls)
- Monitor the parking lot area as needed.
- Stage and detail golf carts for daily play and special events.
- Be aware of reservations by using provided devices and monitor the first tee at times.
- Assist with check-in and cleaning of rental equipment including pull-carts and rental club sets.
- Communicate regularly with Golf Shop Staff and Rangers acting as the first tee starter and helping regulate pace-of-play.
- Park and charge golf carts and keep cart barn tidy.
- Assist Director of Golf as needed.
Compensation:
$13/hour gratuity.
