Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment through preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
- Engage in residential painting tasks when required to maintain aesthetic standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Experience supervising maintenance staff is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
