GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :
You will serve as a liaison with artists while they are rehearsing and performing at the museum and as such you will interact on a day-to-day basis with artists as well as with a wide range of other colleagues at the museum. You will also communicate with the artist or production team on the artist hospitality needs and organize the hospitality accordingly. You will additionally assist the senior producer with various administrative tasks and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :
- Communicate with artists on arrival instructions, safety guidelines and museum protocols.
- Liaise with museum security to inform them of onsite artist visits.
- Serve as departmental liaison during rehearsals in galleries and communicate artist needs to production management as needed.
- Communicate with artists and production team on hospitality needs as requested.
- Coordinate on-site hospitality for artists including purchase, set-up and clean-up.
- Reconcile hospitality and other miscellaneous expenses after production.
- Assist Senior Producer with a range of tasks including but not limited to generating / maintaining contact sheets, drafting and trafficking performance-related documents and coordinating meetings.
- Other administrative needs as needed.

At time of employment, employees are expected to be located within commuting distance of the Museum. “Commuting distance” means that they are located in one of following states : New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania (the “Tri-state and PA” areas), and be able to commute to and from the Museum in a single day.
