Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Interact and communicate with internal and external customers to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collect and enter demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information from customers or responsible parties to facilitate a seamless customer experience.
  • Schedule patients following established policies and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Proactively problem-solve access issues that arise when scheduling to meet stakeholder needs.
  • File, retrieve, or deliver patient information or records using current technology to facilitate timely patient care.
  • Facilitate the flow of patient forms, patient letters, and data per department needs.
  • Know when to expedite, escalate, and redirect issues and situations to other resources/departments.
  • Observe legal and ethical guidelines to safeguard the confidentiality of patient and proprietary ThedaCare information.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age.

Work Environment:

  • Normally works in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • Frequent sitting with movement throughout the office space.
  • Occasional contact with aggressive and/or combative customers.
  • Use of computers throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers.
