Role: VOIP Software Engineer
Long Term Contract
Location: Westminster, CO _ Hybrid
- Total experience of 5-10 years
- Strong coding skills in C /Java; Python coding skill will be an added advantage.
- Good experience in software development on Android and Linux platforms.
- Very good understanding of SIP and SDP - including specific concepts like Offer/Answer model, DTMF handling, INFO method, media re-negotiation (Re-INVITE), session management in B2BUA and Proxy, Provisional Responses, Early Media handling, UPDATE method, Supplementary Services support on SIP Phones (Call Waiting, Call Hold, Call Transfer, Call Diversion, 3-way Conference etc.)
- Knowledge of H.323 and H.245 will be preferred.
- Good Understanding of RTP/RTCP, SRTP, Media Encryption, Delay, Jitter, Bandwidth management etc.
Knowledge of Audio codecs (narrowband/wideband/super wideband), Transcoding, Noise suppression/cancellation, Echo cancellation, Audio Quality metrics etc. will be preferred.
