Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Description:
Theoris is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a hybrid team in Westfield, Indianapolis (3 days onsite). This person will help manage and optimize the organization’s Windows server infrastructure, Azure environment, and Microsoft 365 platform. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with cloud server management, backups, and email security.
Responsibilities:
- Manual Windows Patch Management
- Manual Anti-Virus Updates (Fortinet preferred) automation/optimization needed
- Network Monitoring (PRTG preferred)
- Disaster Recovery and Backups (Veamm preferred)
- Manage and support Windows servers (legacy and current)
- Administer and optimize Azure cloud and on-prem infrastructure
- Handle Microsoft 365 configuration and security
- Improve patching, backup, and antivirus processes
- Support application outages in collaboration with the MES team
- Participate in on-call rotation (after-hours issues; paid on-call)
- Contribute to upcoming infrastructure projects (wireless refresh, phone system upgrade, new office setup)
Requirements:
- Experience with Cloud server management
- Strong Windows server experience
- Email security experience (Mimecast preferred)
- Experience with VMware hypervisor
- Exposure to Linux is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years as a Systems Administrator
- Strong preference for candidates with relevant certifications, such as Azure, VMWare, CompTIA, Security
- Minimal travel to High Point NC and Detroit MI
- Weekend work: Occasionally required; flex time given during the week!
- Experience with Windows, hybrid with on-prem 80–90 servers, Azure as the primary data center.
