POSITION OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to support social media initiatives for the agency’s clients. This role will be responsible for creating, curating and / or sourcing and publishing original copy and visual content, scheduling content across platforms and daily community management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering social marketing results, with the ability to plan from scratch and drive ideas from conception to execution.
Requirements : ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Write highly creative, engaging and insight-driven copy for social media platforms and prepare monthly content calendars.
- Create original social media content utilizing client brand and marketing materials.
- Capture and assist in the production of high-quality social media images and videos.
- Schedule and publish organic social content on client’s social channels.
- Manage day-to-day activity across these platforms, from concept to posting, monitoring and community management.
- Work with clients to create an organic social media strategy (at times, paid social) in collaboration with the client’s marketing team and joining client calls.
- Create analytics reports that capture key metrics, takeaways and optimization strategies.
- Set up client social accounts – securing handles, drafting bios and selecting avatars.
- Identify, solicit and manage Influencers for client campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay current with social media trends and tools and communicate relevance to clients.
- Monitor and proactively research industry developments, creative trends, and culturally relevant moments to continuously push our social media efforts forward with speed and efficiency.
