Occupancy Specialist

We have seen great growth in the past few years, which has stretched our coverage area to include Warren, Hunterdon, Morris, Union, Middlesex, Monmouth & Ocean counties. This expansion would not be possible without the dedicated staff members that make up our team.

Alternatives, Inc. in Raritan, NJ is looking to hire a full-time Occupancy Specialist. This position reports to the Director of Housing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One (1) or more years' experience in leasing/occupancy management preferred
  
  

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for leasing activities and functions including but not limited to: background checks, issuing new leases, renewing current leases, lease re-certifications, tracking move in's and move out's, rent increases, collecting/refunding security deposits, monthly vouchering for subsidy, notifying tenants of annual rent increases, and troubleshooting lease issue for all agency owned/rented properties.
• Coordinate and work with all funding sources regarding rental subsidies for all Agency's tenants.
• Responsible for issuing notices of any violations, processing eviction notices; implementing evictions as necessary.
• Conduct quarterly tenant fired drills, as necessary
  
  

Pay Rate

$21.50/HR
