Therapy Austin is a strong and inclusive community seeking a compassionate, self-motivated and collaborative Counseling Graduate Intern to provide our clients with high-quality clinical care.
Graduate Student Interns carry assigned caseloads of 10-14 clients per week. They are self-motivated and collaborative counseling practitioners with a strong desire to develop clinical skills. Counseling Interns are responsible for providing phone intake calls, conducting mental health evaluations, and working with their clinical supervisor to develop treatment plans in a relational agency-based setting. This is an unpaid, graduate-level internship position.
With 5 locations across Austin, Therapy Austin offers therapy-ready adult clients alongside a fantastic group of practitioners in a private-pay setting. We invest heavily in our counselors’ clinical and professional growth by providing high-quality training and individualized mentoring.
