About the Role:
Are you a dedicated and passionate Registered Dietitian looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)? Join our team in Delano, CA, as a Renal Dietitian, where you'll play a crucial role in providing specialized nutrition care to our patients while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the nutritional needs of ESRD patients and develop individualized meal plans to promote optimal health.
- Educate patients and their families on dietary management, ensuring adherence to nutritional guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement effective care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to dietary recommendations.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and maintain continuing education hours as specified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding clinical nutrition services.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅ Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics on the Commission of Dietetics Registry. (Required)
✅ Current state licensure (if applicable) meeting all state-specific requirements. (Required)
✅ Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian. (Required)
✅ Membership with the American Dietetic Association. (Strongly Preferred)
✅ Previous experience working with ESRD patients. (Preferred)
✅ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
✅ Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
