Requirements
- BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- 3 years experience managing Microsoft desktop and server environments
- Preferred Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure - Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Administrator, MCSE certifications or equivalent experience
- Proficiency supporting cloud-based compute and storage solutions (Azure preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft365, Azure AD/AADDS, Active Directory Domain Services, Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 , DHCP, DNS
- Proficiency in Linux server systems administration such as RedHat, CentOS, and Debian
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, PowerShell)
- Experience with ITIL and/or ITSM principles a plus
- Ability to manage diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment
- Strong project management skills and detail-oriented
- Provides 1st and 2nd level cloud-based, remote and on-site support for the server and desktop environment
- Ensures all infrastructure solutions and operational activities adhere to the security and operating policies established by the organization
- Participates in engineering innovation projects that push the organization forward
- Performs recurring IT operational tasks and proactively validates environment health
- Reports and escalates support trends in order to improve service delivery
- Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery or the health of the environment through process improvement and/or continual development of runbooks
- Provides on-call coverage for production support and other duties as required
