Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and maintain the catheterization lab for procedures
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Assist with patient education and post-procedure care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
