Job Title: Tech - Computed Tomography (CT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tech - Computed Tomography (CT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment to provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients.

2. Position patients correctly to ensure proper image capture.

3. Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.

4. Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.

5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses.

6. Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.

7. Keep detailed records of patient information and imaging results.

8. Stay current on developments in CT technology and best practices in the field.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Certification in CT technology.

2. Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.

7. Knowledge of radiation safety procedures.

8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

9. Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems.
